Labels designed specifically for use on a thermal printers are know as thermal transfer labels.

A thermal transfer printer utilises a black wax printing foil, supplied on a roll.

The labels are supplied on a reel and come in virtually any size up to 4”wide.

The average reel of 3 x 2” labels would contain approximately 2000 / 3000 labels and be 8” in diameter.

Thermal transfer should not be confused with direct thermal.
These labels have a special coating and work on printers that don’t utilise printer foils.

At Apple Labelling we specialise in thermal transfer labels, both semi-gloss and matt finish.

For your convenience we hold considerable stocks of all the popular sizes.

However, should you need something special we have a vast range of label cutters at our disposal. We should be able to match your size requirements exactly, or at least get very close.

Having such a large range of cutters will usually negate the need for expensive new tooling.

We'll produce bespoke labels in quantities starting from as little as 1,000. Production time is generally 7 working days.

If you need coloured blanks - that's no problem. We can match any Pantone shade.

Finally we can pre-print your company's coloured logo or product name as a label header.
